Bringing you the best experience in aviation photography…

The ultimate in aviation photography…

Air-to-air is the pinnacle of the aviation photography but it requires hours of preparation, briefings and safety procedures. COAP has hundreds of air-to-air flight hours, with the team being amongst the most experienced in-flight photographers in the business and you can join specific photo sorties with everything from fast jets, classic jets and warbirds!

Here you will find our operations that offer air-to-air photography, whether it’s a standalone shoot with a warbird or classic jet, the tailored support of an airshow or a Workshop on how to get the results.

These shoots will see you board a certified aircraft/operator and work in small groups inside a cameraship such as a Shorts Skyvan, Cessna Caravan or Beech Bonanza in fully briefed, safely and professionally executed sorties specifically for aerial photography.

We travel all over the world undertaking these operations, and they are offered either as dedicated COAP events or in tandem with one of our network of operators and professional shooters.

If you want to know what the experience is like, read our blog posts by clicking the button below.
Enjoy the ride!

We are proud to operate with the best in the business…

    Erik, Air-to-Air shooter.

  • The rush of looking out from the open ramp at the aircraft that get really close is amazing. This really is something you have to have experienced as an aviation photographer. The opportunity that COAP and Aviation Photocrew gave was amazing.

    Erik, Air-to-Air Shooter.

  • This was such an exhilarating experience, something that I’ll never forget. This is something that has been on my bucket list for a long time, but now I’d like to repeat this on a regular basis, it’s so addictive!

  • Exotic Wings #21

A fantastic air-to-air operation with the participants of the ‘EURASIA’ airshow in Antalya, Turkey. This special event will see aircraft perform for the gathered crowds in Turkey under the country's first commercial airshow.
We will be operating a cameraship with the intent to undertake aerial coverage of specific performers (and the show itself) for the organisers.
Turkey has proud aviation history as well as a hard-working industry and a network of allies. Accordingly, this show is expected to attract some VERY interesting participants.
We await to see the exact plan of the aerials and the subjects.
The aerial flights will be subject to a separate costing. This itinerary covers the logistics, and outlines the aerial plan largest based on last year’s highly successful undertaking.
This is promising to be an excellent addition to the programme.

Land Only cost for the seven days: £825, plus air-to-airs will be additional to this. More details on request.

Your travel with COAP will ensure you are part of a small, flexible and photography-focussed group, offering the highest degree of flexibility to ensure a maximum return from as many vantage points as possible (and not forgetting a great social scene!).

    DAY 1: FRIDAY, 20th APRIL
Please meet Rich Cooper of COAP and fellow photographers in the international Arrivals Hall at Antalya Airport at 2130hrs. (Flights from London/Istanbul also available).
Today is all about the briefings and safety checks, checking over the plans, full guidance on aerial photography and how to execute the missions, as well as the pilot and safety briefings with our crews.
Flexibility is key here, over the next three days of arrivals and rehearsals. We will be operating for the arriving participants on the Sunday-Tuesday. The exact programme is not known yet (and will always change in some way anyway!). We will be operating from Antalya, the show site, right by our hotel. More details of the participants will be provided as the weeks develop (and on the days themselves), but we hope for some great photographic opportunities air-to-air at a time when operating cameraships for aerial purposes is becoming increasingly difficult.
A full day at the EURASIA show, the first of its kind in the country. www.eurasiaairshow.com
Leaving our baggage in the hotel room for later collection, we then return for a second hit at the EURASIA show from the time the gates open until around 1330-1400hrs.
We then transfer to the domestic terminal on the hotel’s transfer service we check in with Turkish Airlines; recommended latest check in time is at least 2 hours prior to departure, i.e. 1450hrs. If traveling Land Only, you are required to match the timings of the COAP flights under your own arrangements. More details on request.

Right now, the final details are being put together. Also, we are not yet authorised to reveal the participants of the show and air-to-air subjects. All you are invited to do at this stage is to send us an E-MAIL to get your name on the list URGENTLY. First come, first served and this is likely to be one of the best and most diverse aerials we've undertaken.
