Air-to-Air

Bringing you the best experience in aviation photography…

The ultimate in aviation photography…

Air-to-air is the pinnacle of the aviation photography but it requires hours of preparation, briefings and safety procedures. COAP has hundreds of air-to-air flight hours, with the team being amongst the most experienced in-flight photographers in the business and you can join specific photo sorties with everything from fast jets, classic jets and warbirds!

Here you will find our operations that offer air-to-air photography, whether it’s a standalone shoot with a warbird or classic jet, the tailored support of an airshow or a Workshop on how to get the results.

These shoots will see you board a certified aircraft/operator and work in small groups inside a cameraship such as a Shorts Skyvan, Cessna Caravan or Beech Bonanza in fully briefed, safely and professionally executed sorties specifically for aerial photography.

We travel all over the world undertaking these operations, and they are offered either as dedicated COAP events or in tandem with one of our network of operators and professional shooters.

If you want to know what the experience is like, read our blog posts by clicking the button below.
Enjoy the ride!

We are proud to operate with the best in the business…

  • Assignment #21

A special access visit to the Finnish show at F-18 Hornet base of Kuopio.

    ASSIGNMENT SUMMARY
    LOCATION: Kuopio, Finland
SUBJECT: Special access at the Finnish AF airshow
    DATE: 15-19 June 2016
    PRICE: From £1050
    CAPACITY: 8x photographers
INCLUDES: Flights, hotels, hire of commercial transport and driver, all logistics, booking and admin.

    Finnish AF Airshow: Assignment overview
The primary airshow in Finland rotates air bases each year, with 2016’s edition taking place at the F-18C/D Hornet base of Kuopio. This visit will include special access and more. Potential extras of going air-to-air with selected show participants and flying with aerobatic teams.

This very special 2016 edition of the Finnish AF Airshow has been selected as the first airshow to feature on COAP’s prestigious calendar, with a wealth of rare machines, potentially great weather, good access, special relationship with the organisers, great programme, the host station being the primary Finnish AF fighter base and the potential ‘extra’ of going air-to-air with airshow participants.

This event is shaping up to be a fantastic event on the show circuit, especially with media access during the arrivals and show days for the best photographic opportunities.

We are also in negotiations with the professional show organisers to arrange some aerial photography flights. These are ongoing and will be a separate price to the basic package advised within, dependent on a number of factors. More details will be made available in the coming weeks. A very special photographic treat, off the beaten track.

More details of the participants will be provided in the coming weeks, but expect some great photographic opportunities on the ground at one of Europe’s premier shows this year, a strong historic showing, Finnish airpower, international participation and industry exhibits.

**PLEASE NOTE** We will send details out on any potential air-to-airs the moment they are known via e-mail to those attending. There are no details confirmed at this time on the subject or the costings.
